Terms and Conditions

From the beginning of March until the end of October, weekend bookings must be for a minimum of two nights. The same goes for Boxing Day, and New Year’s Eve bookings.

A non-refundable deposit of £25 per person, per night is required for each booking.

A credit or debit card number must be given at the time of booking and once a deposit has been taken off your card you have then entered into a Legal Contract with us. The management reserves the right to take any money owing off the card number given at the time of booking due to cancellation, no show, illness, damages, misuse of our property etc, without any further consent being required from the holder of the card. If the card is no longer in use you will be asked for another card details to be given.If cancellations are made up to 7 days prior to the arrival date, only the deposit will be lost but when cancellations are made within the 7 days prior to the arrival date, the full cost of the booking becomes due.The full balance will be taken on the day of arrival from the card given at the time of booking. To prevent any loss due to cancellations, The Crown Hotel does stress the importance of taking out Travel insurance to protect yourself.The Crown will charge an amendment fee of £20 each time a change is made to an existing booking.By making a booking with us we take it that you understand and accept all our Terms and Conditions.It is your responsibility to read our terms and conditions and make sure anyone else who is in your party have read them too.The person who makes the booking and pays the deposit will be held responsible for all the rooms they have booked. That means if anyone in the party does not show up or cause any damage, or mis use the room etc there card will be be used to take any payment needed to cover the cost without any additional consent needed.All rooms booked are for the sole use of the people booked into them. We do not allow non-residents into the rooms unless authorisation has been given first. No one else apart from the occupiers of that room will be allowed to sleep, or use the facilities in there. Anyone caught allowing non-residents to use our facilities will be charged the going rate. And asked to leave. We have had problems with people sneaking their friends in to use our facilities or sleep in their rooms or the caravan and this is not acceptable .

If you book two or more nights and you decide to leave early the full amount still remains payable for the whole stay.

We no longer accept cheques as a form of payment.

Parking — We have a car park at the front and rear of the hotel, all vehicles left on our premises are left at their own risk. The owners hold no responsibility for any theft damage etc.

We no longer accept Dogs on our premises apart from guide dogs. Guide dogs however would not be allowed in any bedrooms.

All bookings are per person per night not a room rate.Double or twin rooms are the minimum of 2 people staying in them so if 1 person was only to stay the full cost as if 2 people were staying would be payable.

Anyone arriving after 10.00pm must ring and let us know to see if it will be convenient or not. We are not a 24 Hour hotel.

Personal possessions are left on the premises at the owners risk.

The management reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone on our premises at any given time and no explanation need be given. We do not tolerate verbal abuse from anyone, particularly on the telephone, anyone doing so will have their booking cancelled and will lose their deposit.

By booking with us, one will have deemed to have read and accepted our Terms and Conditions.
